Karen Wright, the Newmarket woman whose fight against oral
cancer was featured in last week's Journal, has praised the support she
received from a support group set up to help patients. The Oral and
Maxillo-Facial Surgery About face patient support group has its own website on
www.omfsaboutface.co.uk and aims to increase awareness of mouth and facial
cancers and facial deformities.
"I received a lot of support from the group," said Karen. "And the website
provides lots of information for anyone who might be concerned."
