A group of several patients who have made excellent recovery and now live full and active lives have committed themselves to helping with the group. They will visit other patients in hospital, send letters, emails etc. and will telephone, giving whatever assistance is thought necessary, to enable others to gain their quality of life and self esteem.
Their help will extend to carers and families in the belief that a shared experience can best benefit others who are experiencing similar ordeals.
All this backed up by the Surgical and Medical team within the Maxillofacial Department.
